Princípom hry je hľadanie riešení z pozície zástupkyne či zástupcu mestskej samosprávy. Z týchto riešení by mali benefitovať inak opomíjané skupiny ľudských aj neľudských aktérov v meste. RUVK je výskumný a intervenčný tím, zložený z dizajnérok, architektov, sociálnych vedkýň, odborníka na sociálne bývanie a právnika. V lokalite pracuje v rôznych zostavách už od roku 2018. Členovia tímu asistovali obyvateľom pri adresovaní závad v bývaní mestu ako prenajímateľovi a tiež pri podaní podnetu verejnej ochrankyni práv. Po hromadnom ukončení nájomných zmlúv zo strany Mesta Veľký Krtíš v septembri 2020, ktoré sa dotklo približne 130 ľudí, z toho 70 detí, v bytovom dome 4 mesiace intenzívne, na každodennej báze, pôsobil jeden z členov tímu. RUVK usiloval tiež o prepojenie lokálnych subjektov s cieľom posilniť kapacity pre terénnu sociálnu prácu a dostupné bývanie v lokalite.

V žádném jiném monumentu nejsou tak výrazně vepsány dějiny českých zemí a jejich obyvatelstva jako právě tady. První mistr, který stál v čele stavby, Matyáš z Arrasu, povolaný Janem Lucemburským z Avignonu, přenesl do Prahy vzor francouzské katedrální architektury. Ale Matyášův nástupce geniální Petr Parléř dodal pražské katedrále a její sochařské výzdobě rysy umělecké výjimečnosti. Po dobu vlády Karla IV. postupovala stavba úspěšně kupředu, zastavilo ji až husitské období. Již tehdy katedrála zastávala nezastupitelnou roli v symbolice českého státu: byly zde uloženy korunovační klenoty.

FOIBOS BOOKS agency declared this year as The Year of J. Plečnik and P. Janák 2012 - due to two important anniversaries - birth of Jože Plečnik /140 years ago/ and Pavel Janák /130 years ago/. The agency in cooperation with the Administration of the Prague Castle is publishing at the occasion of the anniversary a book by Zdeněk Lukeš Jože Plečnik - A guide to the buildings in the Czech Republic. The Guide to the buildings by the well-known Slovenian architekt Jože Plečnik /1872-1957/ introduces in the texts and contemporary photos by Jiří Podrazil his timeless work for the Prague Castle and the Lány Castle including some less known or not published interventions. These works were done in the 20s and early 30s of the last century in cooperation with T. G. Masaryk. The book even shows his next buildings - Kostel Nejsvětějšího Srdce Páně /The Church of The Holliest Heart of the Lord in Vinohrady/ or less known earlier realisations. The Guide is an extended and supplemented version of the book published at the occasion of the exhibition inspired by Plečnik in the Prague Castle in 1996 and sold out within a few months.

Národní styl vstoupil na scénu s koncem první světové války, kdy intenzivní pocit historického vítězství podmínil a stvrdil nový obsah části českého umění, architektury a uměleckého řemesla. Ambice vybudovat českou národní kulturu na státní platformě byla motivována snahou vtisknout Československé republice dominantně slovanský charakter. Hlavní protagonisté národního stylu Pavel Janák, Josef Gočár a František Kysela usilovali o vytvoření specifických výrazových prvků, které by byly inspirovány místním naturelem. Umělci se však nepokoušeli o bezprostřední citaci motivů z rejstříku etnografického materiálu, ale spíše o postižení esence charakteru lidového umění a vyjádření této autentické podstaty vlastními autorskými prostředky. Prvotní nadšení ze vzniku českého uměleckého projevu začalo však již v 1. polovině dvacátých let atakovat kritické hodnocení příslušníků internacionální avantgardy, zejména okruhu Karla Teigeho, kteří odmítali dekorativní výraz národního stylu. Krátkou existenci tohoto uměleckého proudu ukončila mezinárodní výstava v Paříži, po které Janák s Gočárem definitivně opustili ornamentální tvarosloví, a národní styl tak dožíval pouze ve výuce státních odborných škol a v tvorbě některých regionálních architektů.
